Ask an assistant whether a spot is skateable and it answers with what the weather did, how the surface is drying, when it should be good for a session, and a score out of 100. The answer comes from the same engine as the Skateable app. No account is needed for Alexa, Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini.
A typical answer: "Not yet. It rained overnight, about 4 millimetres. The air is damp and there's no breeze, so it's drying slowly. You probably won't get a session in until around 11am. Sitting at 22 out of 100."
On iPhone and Apple Watch, say "Is Buckingham skateable?" or "Ask Skateable about Buckingham". Siri answers for spots you have saved in the app, and is part of Skateable Crew. There is nothing to set up.

The Android app is also ready for Gemini to ask it directly on Android 16 and later; Google is opening that to apps in stages, so it will start working once Skateable is included.
Enable the Skateable skill, then say "Alexa, ask Skateable about Buckingham". You can ask about any spot on Skateable by name. The skill is not in the Alexa Skills Store yet.

The connection is read-only. It can find spots by name and read the current score and conditions for one. It cannot change anything on Skateable and has no access to accounts, sessions or saved spots.
To keep the service free, each caller can ask up to 30 times an hour, and each assistant has a daily limit across everyone using it. If you hit a limit the assistant will say so. The app is never limited. Details are in the developer reference.
An assistant sends Skateable the spot name you asked about. Skateable does not store it. See the privacy policy for what is kept to enforce the limits above.
